***BLOG TOUR STOP and GIVEAWAY*** Spellbound by Sylvia Day

2 Chicks and a Blog - Ashley's Review

Well well well, Sylvia Day .. You've done it again!  I will say, this is my first paranormal read by Sylvia (my 4th one in my entire life) and I enjoyed it.  Not as much as the Crossfire Series, but nonetheless, a good book.

The beginning was a little slow, but once it got going .. OH BOY .. I GOT GOING!!

Victoria is amazing; what every woman wants to be.  Strong, independent and carefree .. until she meets someone who takes her out of her own head and put in the moment.  Dealing with the trials and tribulations she had broke me inside for her, but watching her come out the other side with just as much strength as she started made me extremely happy.  All too often, we read about heroines that are lackluster and don't have the things that real woman have, more so, the qualities authors think will sell.  For THIS reason alone, I adore Sylvia and Victoria.

Max .. sweet baby Jesus .. I'll submit ... I can't shift into a cat or anything, but God Almighty, I'll purr and stuff!  A sexy warlock sent to hunt Victoria for going against the rules of the council, he finds himself in a strange situation; he's falling in love with the infamous feral Victoria.

The love between Max and Victoria is heart warming and HOT HOT HOT ... Can you use magic to pin me against a window in my office?  No?  Got some rope?  Yeah, it's come to that.  Max has just entered my world of "top book boyfriends" ..

How Sylvia creates such entertaining worlds, sexy characters, enthralling story lines and dialogue that's bound to wet any panties is beyond me.  I can only hope to have perfected my craft like she has!

Sylvia motherlovin Day .. I PROUDLY give SPELLBOUND 4.5 out of 5, I'll be your damn kitten STARS!!

Synopsis:
From #1 New York Times bestselling author Sylvia Day comes a story of the ultimate seduction. . . .
Max Westin. Sex incarnate. She could smell it, feel it with his proximity. Everything about him was a little rough, a little gritty. He was a primitive creature. Just like her.
He held her hand a little too long, his gaze, under thick lashes, clearly stating his intention to have her. To tame her. . . .
"Victoria."
Her name, just one word, but spoken with such possession she could almost feel the collar around her neck.
"It's in your nature," he murmured. "The desire to be taken."
In this game of cat and mouse, everything is an illusion, but the passion is as real as it gets. . . .
