Julie is a Southern California native, a fan of a really good story (preferably romance with a happily ever after), really good pie (preferably pumpkin) and copious amounts of coffee (preferably Folgers).
She has always enjoyed writing and at one time thought she could be a singer songwriter...the 'writer' part is the one that stuck.

I’ve been creating stories my whole life, but only for me, in my own head. Then one day I sat down and started to write a book. I completed my first novel, In Search of Lucy, in February of 2011. Seven months later, AmazonEncore contacted me about representing my book. It’s currently in the top 10 for Kindle Drama.

My second full-length novel, Vigil Annie, was released on Amazon in December of 2012! One reviewer called this thriller “suspenseful, well-crafted, and fast paced.”

I recently completed my first romantic comedy, The Tech Guy, now available on Amazon.

My other works include a mystery series (A Hint of Murder) and a short, sweet romance (Special Delivery).

I was born and raised in Southern California and hold a bachelor’s degree in journalism and a multiple subject teaching credential. I’m a wife and mother of two teenagers.

2 Chicks and a Blog - Ashley's Review

Okay, let me just say that WOW Harper Sloan knocked this one out of the park.  Every single emotion that a human being can feel, I felt in this book.  I have read the other two books in this series and Beck takes the cake.  Don't get me wrong, I am hard core in love with Axel and Cage, but Beck .. WOW.  Holy Hell.  Jesus Amazeballs.  I'm sold!

And Dee ... That girl.  The things that she's dealt with in a short amount of time breaks my heart and I totally feel for her.  The emotions portrayed by Dee were so honest, it killed me.  She was a runner but OH MY HELL did she have reasons to run and hide never to be found again.

The relationship that is shown between Dee and Beck, going back to the first time they meet and to present was amazing.  Again, I can't say it enough, it was honest.  It wasn't over exaggerated like many other love stories.  It was painful and I had to work for my HEA.  AND that is what I love and yearn for in a book.  Nothing annoys me more than having an instant HEA.  I'm a self labeled angst whore and this book won my heart.

AND SWEET BABY JESUS did I cry my damn eyes out during the last 20% of this book.  My heart was shattered and I was worried about how the hell Harper is going to pull off further books.  I'm foreshadowing a little bit, but I'm sure that she's going to be able to do it 100% perfectly.  I distinctly remember Harper posting on FB that she was crying writing a scene and GOOD she deserved the tears because I know I shared my own.  I may have posted my own picture of my reaction to this damn story.

But all in all Harper mother effin Sloan .. WELL DONE.. BRAVO .. ANOTHER GRAND SLAM .. YOU KILLED IT .. READY FOR MORE!!!

This chick proudly gives Beck by Harper Sloan 5 out of 5 can I get Axel, Cage and Beck on a silver platter stars!!

***REVIEW*** The Space In Between by Brittainy Cherry -- Kirby's Review



The Space in Between by Brittainy C.  Cherry is a captivating story of two tortured soul who lean on each other to forget.  Andrea is a struggling with the loss of her fiancé days before their wedding day.  To escape dealing with his death in her small, gossiping hometown Andrea flees to New York to start over.  Life in New York isn’t exactly what she expects either.   Soon after her arrival, she is brought together with someone from her past; Cooper Davidson.
Cooper just learned that is wife not only cheated on him, but wound up pregnant from the affair.  To make things more complicated they host a reality show together and the paparazzi seem to always be present.   The shocking news forces him to do a self-evaluation and begin to question his life choices.
 A chance run-in with Andrea, the first girl he ever liked, and both of their lives change.  They are drawn to one another, but realize that they are both messed up and unable to any type of commitment.  The two decide to use one another for sex in order to forget; they agree to keep the emotions out of it and that they can back out at any point.  Easier said than done.
The internal struggles that both characters deal with throughout the book is quite interesting.  Andrea doesn’t know how to move on from her fiancé’s death, who she is, and how to process her developing feelings for Cooper.  Cooper is deals with the end of his marriage, his delusional wife who thinks they will work it out, and his past.  These struggles mixed with various supporting characters creates a book worth reading.


I give The Space in Between by Brittainy C Cherry  4 out of 5 we’re are both messed up so lets hit the sheets stars.
