2 Chicks and a Blog - Ashley's 3.5 star review
Okay .. this one is hard for me. I really enjoy Kelly Elliott's writing style and the flow of her books, but this one wasn't really for me.
It was a good book, just not excellent. Maybe because I really enjoyed Broken so much, this one didn't take the cake.
Jessie and Scott were dynamic together, the angst was there but all the shifting POV with the ENTIRE gang was a bit much. I couldn't wrap my head around who was talking and why they needed a POV.
I really am happy we got Scott and Jessie's story, I just wish it was a little less everyone else and a little more just them. I mean, I love Gunner as much as the next gal, but his POV didn't do much for the story. I really can't wait for the next KE book to come out though!!!
But, nonetheless, wonderfully written, good flow, good plot!

Oh my goodness,
Kelly Elliott what can I say. I have loved every book in the Wanted Series and
this one was no different. Faithful left me heartbroken for Jessie and left me
waiting for Cherished. You definitely did not disappoint! Scott and Jessie's
love stories has been building for years, it only takes one thing to set Jessie
over the edge and running away from everything. When Scott finally tracks her
down he isn't sure if he really has her back 100%. This story had ups and downs
along the way, but I couldn't put it down. Watching Scott and Jessie get over
fears and build their relationship back up is the sweetest thing! I laughed,
cried and held on for dear life at one point waiting to see what would happen.
And of course
the rest of the group is there too. I love that we get everyone's POV in
Cherished. This book is about love, lust, drama, angst and friendships.
Everything you expect in a great love story. One of my favorite things about
this series is that blood doesn't make you family. This group of friends have
seen each other at their best and work and are there no matter what. It takes
one phone call to change everything. No
matter what is going on they will be there in a heartbeat. Even when you do
something dumb, you are accepted for who you are and loved unconditionally. I
have said this to Kelly and I will say it again...thank you so much for
bringing these characters into my life. It is one of my favorite series to read
and reread. Can't wait to get the next one.
