2 Chicks and a Blog - Ashley's Review
Okay, so this book was HILARIOUS. Let me start with Amanda, who cracked me up at each and every turn. She was so damn funny, I found myself laughing out loud, like real cackling. It was kind of amazing. The relationship between her and Shane was even more funny. The banter between the two was fantastic. It's much like my husband and I interact, always picking fun at each other.
The sex was hot, well except for the first guy (that was the funniest sex scene I've ever read in my entire life). I loved the bond between all of the friends and it was just wonderful!!
I can't say enough nice things about this book. The only thing I wish I would have had more of was the happily ever after. Nothing bothers me more than dealing with all the angst of the will they or won't they, who will get the girl and OMG is it finally going to happen than when I'm cut short. I literally got only a few more paragraphs of the HEA we all dream of before I was cut off into the Epi.
I'm a little unsure of the epi, though. I wanted so much more of Amanda that when the epi showed up and it was Lily, I felt let down and still wanting more. I'm assuming there will be another book to this story that shows Lily's story, which I'm sure that I'll read once it comes out.
I'm on such a book high right now. This was a romance, but it wasn't your cookie cutter romance, even though the plot was something very similar to most contemporary stories. Read it, you're going to laugh out loud!!
