2 Chicks and a Blog - Ashley's Review
Well let me start off by saying that I adore Remy. I hurt for him, he makes me happy, he gets me excited, he lets me down and he makes me want to love. Remy is REAL. From the top of his head to the soles of his shoes, he's a REAL person. He's not some crazy exaggerated book boyfriend. He has epic flaws, he loves with his entire being and he does dumb shit. He's a man!
I read REAL in a matter of hours. I fell hard core in love with it and never wanted it to stop. When the ARC of MINE popped up in my email, I almost fainted. Katy was so wonderful and allowed 2 Chicks and a Blog to get in on her blog tour at the last minute! MINE took me a little longer to read, maybe I wanted to savor it a little.
There were so many twists and turns in this book, most took me by utter surprise and I loved almost ALL of them!! Remy and Brooke's relationship blossoms into something amazing in MINE. They fall further in love and almost become dependent on each other. Some people might call that co-dependent but really? What relationship isn't co-dependent? I know that if I didn't have my husband, I would die inside; I need him. Much like Remy and Brooke need each other.
With the surprises that MINE threw at me, I wasn't sure how this story was going to go. I was scared for Remy and Brooke almost the entire book. I was worried. If things went south, would Remy be strong enough, mentally, to handle the outcome? The things that Remy goes through to get through a "black" spell shattered my soul. My heart bleeds for him and anyone going through a similar situation. The issues that arose with Brooke during the "surprise" had me reeling. I couldn't imagine.
All I can say is MINE was an amazing book, one that I will read time and time again!!! I am honored to have read this book, been a part of this tour and that I got a surprise ARC of REMY in my email just moments ago. This is going to be a good weekend friends.

I was lucky enough at 2chicks to receive an ARC copy of
‘Mine’ and HOLY GOD JESUS MOTHER…. I was blown away… I didn’t think it could
get better, but it did.
KATY EVANS! I thought you sold me when you wrote ‘Real’,
honestly I thought to myself more than once, “This cannot get any better”
Because I loved Remy and I loved Brooke. Because they weren’t your typical
couple, they were better. Sweet Lord
they were better. I fell more and more in love with them with each page I
turned. From the first word to the last
word I was in love, completely 1000% in love.
I felt it in my bones when the fans yelled RIIIPPPPTTTIIIDDEE, the hair
on the back of my neck stood up for him each and every time he fought and
Brooke watched. My heart broke for them when they went through the life
altering event and Brooke had to once again not be by his side. I felt him go
into the dark and I felt him come back to blue. I still have a book hangover
and have read through this book now twice. I don’t think I will ever get enough
of Mine, I don’t think I will ever have enough of Brooke, Remy or all the guys.
Their relationship is one for the history books for me. He wants her like a
lion wants a lioness and after all of his heartbreak and let downs, he deserves
her and all she can give him. He deserves to be happy. And finally he is, after
losing so much.
AND THE SEX…. Oh.my.underground.fighter.…… There are no
words for the heat these 2 share together. The petting, and the licking. The
worshipping, and the love. My god, I
could not get enough.
“You are going to love me until I die. I am going to make
you love me until I die. I am going to make you love me even if it hurts, and
when it hurts I am going to make it better, Brooke”
“God, Brooke. You knot me up and tear me open. You’re
getting me in you now.”
“Who do you belong to?”
With the curveballs that seem to look for them-- from her
sister, to his parents, to that disgusting Scorpion, they just take each one
and come out more and more in love. Seriously Katy, you blew me away, again and
again. I of course gave this book 5 rip-roaring Stars. I want more of them.
Every piece of them.
